Internet Protection

We have a love - hate relationship with the internet. You're here, on the internet now, finding hope & searching for healing. You also know that this very same connection can be the very cause of your pain. Kind of a viscous cycle, right?

And what about the next generation? Studies show most of our youth today have been exposed to some sort of pornography by age 12! I don't know about you, but that's too young. And yet today, even home school families are using the internet for research & education. It only takes one extra click to sink down into that trap of viewing sites we don't want them to reach. While we can't be there every second of every day, personally, we've had discussions in our home about what to do when they see something they know they should have. We've also added an additional layer of protection to our computers and other electronic devices with Covenant Eyes.

Unfortunately, for our family, it came too late. Just like installing an alarm system after your house has been broken into. We all know someone who's done that, right? While it helps for the "next" time, there is no reversing what has already happened. Or been seen. I'm raising my hand right now with you.

We've added Covenant Eyes to our electronics. We're able to set different levels of security for different ages. We get two reports each week and - for husbands with issues, he can have his accountability report sent to anyone. Or a few people. All for the same price. I've had people shy away when we talk about spending more money on the internet (remember, our friend that we love to hate?). But here's the reality friend, pornography kills. It kills relationships. It kills marriages. It is killing the next generations idea of what love and sex really are.

For us, spending less than a coffee a week at the coffee shop,
we can help protect our marriage.
We can help protect our children.
We can help protect our future daughter-in-laws & grandchildren.
